Brief introduction:
High alumina refractory bricks, that is, a kind of alumino-silicate refractory material with alumina content above 48%. It is made of bauxite or other raw materials with high alumina content by molding and calcining, with high thermal stability and refractoriness above 1770℃. The slag resistance is better.
Characteristics:
1, the refractoriness is higher than that of both clay bricks and semi-silica bricks, up to 1750-1790℃.
2, Load softening temperature is higher than clay bricks, but still not as high as silica bricks.
3, better thermal conductivity than clay bricks.
4, Thermal shock resistance is between clay products and siliceous products.
5, Al₂O₃ is more, close to neutral refractories, can resist the erosion of acidic slag and alkaline slag.
Application:
Mainly used for masonry blast furnace, hot blast furnace, electric furnace roof, blast furnace, reflector furnace, rotary kiln lining. In addition, high alumina refractory bricks are also widely used as heat storage type lattice bricks for flat furnaces, flow steel bricks for pouring system, sleeve bricks, plugs, water spout bricks and so on.
